Who we are

Panoo is an iPhone app developed by Koal Studios. For the limited processing described in this policy, Koal Studios is the data controller.

We operate from Türkiye. Our single point of contact for anything is: info@koalstudios.com

At a glance

Beyond this, no data is collected at all: no analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifier, no location, no contacts, no photo access.

We do not have your notes

The notes you write, the boards you create, the reminders you set and every visual choice you make in Panoo are stored only in your own device’s storage. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else; we do not operate a server that could hold it.

One consequence follows directly from that: we cannot see your notes, cannot recover them, and cannot delete them on your behalf. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.

We do not ask for an account

You do not need to sign up to use Panoo. We do not ask for a name, an email address, a phone number or a password. No such record is ever created.

The only data we collect: purchases

If you buy Panoo Premium, we use a service called RevenueCat, Inc. to verify the purchase and let you restore it on your devices. The data processed for this is:

• Purchase history — which product was bought, when, and whether it was refunded.
• Device identifier — the identifier Apple gives the app, which is not tied to a person.
• Anonymous user identifier — a random number RevenueCat generates on your device.

None of this is linked to your identity; we do not know your name or your email in the first place. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not used for tracking. That is also why the app never shows you an “allow tracking” prompt.

The payment itself is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your card details.

Legal basis: this processing is necessary to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); Turkish KVKK Art. 5/2-c) — there is no other way for us to unlock what you bought and restore it when you ask. We do not rely on consent here, because the purchase cannot work without this processing.

Notifications

Reminder notifications are scheduled on the device itself. They are not sent from a server, so no push token is collected. If you decline notification permission, the rest of the app keeps working normally.

Withdrawing your consent: you can turn notification permission off at any time under iOS Settings → Notifications → Panoo. The app never re-requests it silently, and turning it off does not lock any feature.

Widget

The Home Screen widget uses a shared storage area inside your device so it can display the note you picked. That area never leaves your device and is read only by Panoo.

No analytics, no advertising, no cookies

The app contains no analytics tool, no crash reporting tool and no advertising network. We do not measure which screens you open or how long you use the app.

The website you are reading right now sets no cookies, does not track visitors and runs no third-party scripts. Even the fonts are served from our own server — opening this page, your browser makes no request to any other domain. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties and retention

Only two parties are involved, and only for purchases:

• Apple — processes the payment and ties the purchase to your Apple Account. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat, Inc. — verifies the purchase and lets you restore it on your devices. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Both providers are bound by policies and agreements that provide protection equal to or greater than what this policy commits to. They are not permitted to use the data for any purpose other than the one described here; nothing is shared for advertising, profiling or sale. No data is transferred to any other third party.

Retention: the purchase record is kept for as long as it is needed to verify that the purchase is valid and to restore it when you ask. Because this is a lifetime purchase, that record stays until you ask us to delete it. Your notes are never in our hands in the first place, so there is no copy of them to retain.

International transfers: RevenueCat is based in the United States, so the purchase data listed above is transferred outside Türkiye and the European Union. That transfer takes place under the standard contractual clauses in RevenueCat’s data processing agreement. What is transferred is a purchase record and a device identifier that are not linked to your identity.

Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

• Find out whether it is processed and ask for information about it
• Ask for a copy of it (access and portability)
• Have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
• Have it deleted
• Object to the processing and ask for it to be restricted

To exercise any of these, just write to info@koalstudios.com. We do not ask for extra identification — since we do not know your name in the first place, we handle requests through the purchase details. We respond within 30 days at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you are in the European Union, to the data protection authority of your country.

Children

Panoo is rated for everyone (4+) and does not knowingly collect data from children. We do not collect personal data from anyone. The app has no account creation, so there is no account to delete either.

Deleting your data

To delete your notes, remove them in the app or uninstall the app; the data goes with your device.

If you have a request about your purchase record, write to info@koalstudios.com. We handle access, correction and deletion requests under GDPR and Turkish KVKK.

If this policy changes

If we update this policy we will change the date on this page. If a change is significant, we will also point it out inside the app.
